Black Ring Lizard Skin.

Also known as Water Monitor (Varanus salvator). Our skins are selected by hand to have very fine scales and a fine intricate pattern as desired in the bow trade.

Lizard skins are very durable and have an elegant look on a violin bow.It is hard to the feel and more difficult to work than goat. Skins are about 250mm by 250mm (10 " X 10") not including legs or heads. Though these skins are imported legally, crossing international borders may require permits from the likes of Fish and Wildlife. We do not recommend this for players that travel outside of the U.S.
