When we researched silk for bow wrapping we found that thread sizes are supposed to be made to an industry standard size but they are not. This is size F but Size F will vary in size from maker to maker much like women's clothing sizes vary. A size 6 dress at one store may be larger or smaller than at the next store. We asked leading bow makers to provide silk thread samples of the correct size and found this size in this brand to be correct.
