David Warther & Co. has been providing quality violin family bow parts to the bow making community for many decades. The bow tips we manufacture are milled with precision and are sought after by luthiers for everything from the repair of student bows to international competition pieces.

The ebony bow tips are made with 90 degree milled heads. We make two sizes - the large format cello size is for violin/viola and cello applications. The bass size is large enough for any Bass model.

These are used by many bow makers as a one-piece bow tip liner. 

All of the ebony utilized in this product is Diospyros crassiflora. Its origin is Cameroon West Africa with all paperwork being filed electronically and doubled with paper form. All proper strict procedures have been adhered to including Lacey Act PPQ Form 505, US Fish & Wildlife Import/Export permits, and USDA Import and Health Requirement Permits and USDA Plant & Plant Product Declaration Forms in compliance with Lacey Act Requirements (16 USC 3372(f)). All products adhere to USDA APHIS-APIE standards and procedures.
